Jesse Demonbreun-Chapman
Ogeechee Riverkeeper

Jesse is the Watershed Outreach Coordinator for Ogeechee Riverkeeper. Jesse spends most of his time in classrooms and on the river.  He is responsible for training Adopt-A-Stream volunteers, guiding paddle trips, and spreading the word on where our water comes from and where our wastewater goes.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Prior to ORK, Jesse worked for World Relief, a refugee resettlement agency, as an Employment Specialist. While there, he helped refuge clients obtain their first jobs within the United States.  From there, Jesse moved back to Rome, GA to become a Boys & Girls Club Unit Director.  Over the course of four years, he ran three separate Boys & Girls Clubs in Northwest Georgia and worked to build robust educational programs at each Club.

Jesse lives with his wife, daughter, and 2 dogs in Savannah. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, kayaking, exploring new music, and spending time with family and friends.
